I value personal connection, so you can call me Lula.
Drawing has been my craft since the moment I sat at the same desk at the age of 14 with a girl who was always drawing something in her sketchbook. It went on to become something I couldn't see myself without and grew into me doing a Bachelor's Diploma in Illustration at BHSAD. During my studies I managed to work with museums, a cancer clinic and a children's camp. Whether I'm doing personal work or following a creative brief, my favourite projects allow me to grow and challenge my own creative habits.
I am inspired by ethnic elements, folklore, DnD, exciting fantasy book worlds, bright colours and playground games. I could go on and on, however the theme I am pursuing is narrative. I like to observe what is happening around me as it allows me to look for unusual or mundane plots that I can dovetail further into a story. Stories are something that is all around us everywhere and I love to catch those moments and add a drop of my imagination. I want to tell a story and it is through art that I can do that.
At the moment I work from my small apartment in the Moscow suburbs, occasionally distracted by games and tenderness with my cats - macro and micro duo Rocky and Athena. When I'm not working, I spend time with friends playing DnD, going to LARP camp where I spend time with kids, or reading another fiction book.
